Climbing is an activity in which having the right partner is the most important thing when you are outdoors. I have been climbing for more than 20 years, experiencing fun, fear, suffering and enjoyment. In every situation, having a partner I could trust, who takes the lead when necessary or whom I can trust with my life made every climb a safe return to my home and family.
It has been 5 years since Gabriel joined Morean. I did not know Gabriel much at the time but we worked together for a short period at BVision. We had few interactions but he had a good reputation in the workspace and came highly recommended by a mutual friend.
Gabriel joined as Team Lead for our first project with FWI. The motivation and responsibilities were high and he had to hire our first team of engineers making sure this first engagement was a success. He did it ! Not only that, he also built an exceptional work culture, helped us through the process of leasing and accommodating us in our first office space, and had a lot of fun along the way.
Gabriel is a seasoned engineer, who likes building stuff…software, and his own house, with a green roof and solar heating. He is 100% reliable. He personally delivered his daughter on the way to the hospital in the back seat of his car. He can do anything !
When the pandemic hit, FWI business got disrupted by the lock downs and with that our contract.
We were in a tough spot, but with a great team, Gabriel helped us get a challenging project building the first public API for PedidosYa and he personally made sure that project was delivered on time and with the quality required. During that time, the world opened “to work from anywhere” and lost some team members whom preferred work paid in USD and personally Gabriel had to put in a lot of hard work and dedication to deliver.
After going through 2020, it was a lot of work to get us back on track with many different projects and also participating in developing our own last mile product www.fletti.com
Today, Gabriel is fully dedicated to our biggest partnership making it grow with his hard work, excellence and his leading by example.
It was a no-brainer that Gabriel would become a partner as he represents all the values we live by at Morean and I don’t think we would be where we are if it wasn’t for him.
I really don’t remember the exact date he became a partner as from his first day he acted like the company was his own.
Great partners are hard to find and when you find one you stick with them. It has been a blessing having Gabriel as a partner for this time and we look forward to continuing working together !
